Good Time Comin' — Ode to Hope and Positivity
Today feels like a good day to talk about hope. Good Time Comin' is the last track on Cosmic Cabaret — and maybe the most important message I have for you: nothing is ever truly lost, and a good time really is comin', if you're willing to look for it.
What does 'Good Time Comin'' mean to you?
It's a promise — not that everything will be easy, but that something good is always around the corner if you keep walking. I've lived through seasons where the sky felt permanently grey, and I learned that the sun doesn't disappear; it just waits behind the clouds.
How do you stay positive when things get hard?
I don't always — and I won't pretend otherwise. Positivity isn't about forcing a smile; it's about remembering that another path is always possible. When one door closes, I don't stare at it. I look for the window. Sometimes it's tiny; sometimes you have to make it yourself. But it's there.
What does 'nothing is ever truly lost' mean?
Experiences, lessons, love — they transform, but they don't vanish. A closed chapter becomes wisdom for the next one. A heartbreak teaches you what you truly need. Even mistakes are material — raw stuff for the next song, the next try, the next beautiful attempt at living.
Is this song your personal coaching anthem?
In a way, yes — though I'm a coach who still needs coaching. I wrote it as much for myself as for anyone listening. On days when I forget my own advice, I put this track on and let the groove remind me: keep going, keep looking, keep believing. The good time is comin'.
Why end the album with this message?
Because after all the scenes — the love, the loss, the carousel, the cosmic questions — what I want you to walk away with is hope. The cabaret ends, the curtain falls, but the good time is still comin'. Listen to Good Time Comin' and carry that with you.
